DIAPER-NAPPED:

  • 11 Diaper Rite Birdseye Cotton Flat Cloth Diapers
  • 100% weave cotton
  • Natural Color
  • Size: 27″ x 27″

So we are less than 24 hours from the beginning of the 2013 Flats Challenge and here I am waiting until last minute to get my supplies together. I only waited so long because I knew that I bought flats for last year’s challenge and have them stowed away. In fact I pulled them out not too long ago to play with them and make a cloth diaper cake. But this morning, I went to gather them together to get ready for tomorrow and I CAN’T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!

Well, that’s kinda a lie. I found 3 plus I have the flour sacks I bought from Wal-Mart from last year’s challenge. But you see I won 12 Diaper Rite Birdseye Flats after the Flats Challenge last year, you know, like real Flats that I was looking forward to using this year and I can only find 1! I am so bummed out and have torn the house to pieces looking for a the plastic bag filled with my flats!

I know I had them not too long ago and do occasionally use them to stuff inside a pocket or cover. Grrr…I hate losing things. I have yet to tear apart the attic with all of the baby stuff, so that is my next step. I also need to check my mom’s house because I lent them to her to play around with ideas for a diaper cake as well.

Fingers crossed, and wish me luck. Only a few more hours to go!!!!!!

Have you ever lost a cloth diaper before?

Uh Oh! I hope you find them! I’ve lost diapers, and inserts before! They usually are stuck to the top of the dryer or got mixed in with some other laundry somehow!

I hope you find them soon. I totally get it. When I first started cloth diapering I was sunning on my car and then forgot and drove away :(. Found everything but one diaper. It’s been a year and I still look for it when I drive by where I think I lost it. Even if I found it now. There’s now way it would be usable lol. Good luck.

‘sI haven’t lost a diaper but I did lose an insert. I assumed that it got stuck in the dryer and mixed in with my 13 year old’s laundry only to be forever lost in his room. It was lost for about 6 months but I recently found it stuck in the corner of a fitted sheet that we hadn’t used in all that time.

Fitted sheets are good for stealing inserts as well as cloth wipes sometimes too!

I lost a wet bag full of diapers on the 4th of July 2010. We visited relative on an island and decided to walk on the ferry. I guess they fell off the stroller somewhere. I never did find them. I can’t remember which diapers I lost, but it was my favorite wetbag.

I lost all of my cloth diapers (luckily I’m just being proactive and don’t need them yet)…about 10-12 or so…when I moved at the end of April. I looked and looked and looked and FINALLY found them today in a box specifically for something else. I was so happy to find them!
